Doesn't it disgust you when walk pass the fish market? Nick Koudis came up with a perfect concept and called this photograph "Car feshner works everywhere." Koudis shot two subjects and put them together using different scales. The photographer integrated the two together because as an consumer, I would be convinced and purchase a car freshner if it did miracles like that! The photo also gives off a sense of humor.
A client would rather a composite image because it draws the attention of the audience. For example, if the car freshner was shot in a car, it wouldn't send off the kind of impact this photo did. Also, I like how he chose the original scent, Royal Pine giving a fresh smell.

The photograph above Koudis picture was shot in front of the Boro Hall building. I like this photo beacuse of the different constrast of lighting. During the night the building is lit up with florescent red and blue lights. Also, the beaming light in the photo grabs the viewers attention. The different colors transform the lighting of the photograph giving it a different feeling. This is way I've chose this photo as pne of my favorite taken recently.

This is an photograph taken by an inspiring photographer name Joel Meyerrowitz for his book Citta E Destino. When I first deen this photo, I was amazed how it portray a strong message. This photo makes a crucial difference because of the lighting and how mother nature plays her part. Looking at the brightness of the sun seems like it was an beautiful day. However, the dark clouds covers the city buildings. Lightning and thunder seems to be on its way.Standing in the midst is the twin towers thats is more lit than any of the skyscrapers. Visioning this photo flashes back to five years ago when happy days came to an end.The rain will soon begin!

I've shot this shot around quarter to five while the sun was setting. On my way back to work from break, I was fascinated about the way the sun shined on the building. One side was dark and gloomy and the other was bright as a sunn day. The wood pole plays role in the picture because it breaks the dark from the light, making it a compelling photo.

My point of view was taken from a child's perspective.I have chosen a child's view because it's impressive how children sight things very quick. They often get attrated to colorful objects, things that are more close to the ground and also things they like.A child's view contrast by far from an adults because of the height difference.I have chosen two photos that I believe conveys my point of view.
First photo was taken in Borough Hall train station.I've chosen a train riding by because kids are amused when thy see how fast it goes and the florescent lights that's on the train. When I was younger,I used to love to ride on the train so I could kneel on the seats and look through the window. Also, the composition of the motion in the picture catches the viewers eyes giving it the impression of a fairytale, which kids love.
Second photo is the Mc Donalds restaurant front. This wordmark would always have an imapct on little kids.Down to the age of a one year old baby knows that sign from its first glance. This is the reason why i shot it in a perspective of a child looking up excited to enter in.

Doesn't it look like a cold day in New York? This photo was taken by Berenice Abbott on fifth avenue.I think she really captured the look of New York on a everyday perspective because of the crowd that cover the city streets.Even til this day,if u walk down fifth avenue the streets are cluttered from people shopping and also going or coming home from work. Its a fact that New York is the "City that never sleeps."

The above photo was taken by Chester Higgins.Higgins took a picture of inside a place(resembles a cabin)of how available light can make a photo so strong.First, the photographer stayed in a dark room and aimed diagnal to the window with a beaming sunlight. In contrast, the light in the room has an different impact and stronger sense of available light because of the color of the wood walls

This image was taken in my bedroom on a bright sunny day. However, the lights in my room was shut off.I wanted to take a picture that had equal balance of light without using a flash. Therefore,I used the available light feature on my camera to show how the scene looked at the time.

On September 31st, I visited Next Fest at that Jacob Javits Center. This event was based on advanced technology throughout the world. There were many mouth dropping devices such as 3D virtual games and human robots that converses with u.
The HY-WIRE by GM was the one I gave two thumbs up to for defining advanced technology.HY-WIRE is the world's first drivable vehicle to combine a hydrogen fuel cell with by-wire technology.Just imagine not paying for gas anymore, well this is the car of the future.Everything from the structure to the details of the interior was impressive.I guess GM is heading down to the "Road to Zero."

Photograph of an pack of hotdogs on a wood table was taken by a professional photographer name Nicholas eveleigh.I like this photo because it focuses on the main subject which is the hotdogs and gives the impression that the picture was shot at a cookout. Moreover,it reminds me of Beecher photograph which is why it caught my attention. To see this photo go to www.eveleigh.com.Select folio 2,its the second photo on your left.

This is an statue of Henry Beecher in Cadman Plaza.I have chosen this photograph has one of favorite that was recently taken because it gives off a certain feeling to the viewers and also myself. When I look at this picture,it reminds me of the patriotic days just by the expression of his face. His face is the main focus and the trees captures a shallow depth of field making it a strong photo."All eyes on henry Beecher."
